There are several colorful expressionist references to the Great Red Spot. The composition has elements of complexity and simplicity which are conveyed through the medium of pastel on paper with psychedelic effect. Tadpole-like stripes and swirls form a colorful modern art tapestry of Jupiter's cloud bands and spots. Jupiter is the largest planet of our solar system. It is surrounded by more than 50 moons! The magnetic field is massive and rotates with the planet, sweeping up charged particles and converting them to damaging radiation.
